Cheap flights to Cyprus are much easier to find now that there are over 40 airlines operating scheduled flights to this island in the sun.

Easy Jet have flights to Larnaca and Paphos and since last year (30 September 2010), the budget airline Ryanair started flying to Larnaca Airport from Charleroi (Belgium) and Stockholm but so far there are no UK services.

There are many cheap flights to Larnaca with budget deals to Cyprus from the UK. The earlier you book the cheaper the flight.

On 10 January 2012, Ryanair announced it would open its first base in Cyprus at Pafos in April 2012 with two based aircraft and 14 routes which will initially deliver over 600,000 passengers per annum. They say this will deliver 600 jobs with over 80 weekly flights as Ryanair invests over $140 million.

Flights to Cyprus from Greece

If you're coming to Cyprus via Greece, you'll find low cost flights from Athens and Thessaloniki.

Olympic Airways (national airline of Greece), and Aegean Airways have direct flights to Cyprus.

An agreement signed on 27 March 2011 now offers direct scheduled flights from Olympic Air and Cyprus Airways (domestic and international) with code shared flight to (and from) Larnaca and Paphos.

From April 15th this expanded to cover most domestic and international destinations of Olympic Airways as well as flights of Cyprus Airways.
