The inland village of Pissouri is situated between Limassol and Paphos and just a 30 minute drive away. This is a very popular resort with a village square, a variety of restaurants, local tavernas, banks and bars. Pissouri Bay is a 5 or 10 min drive from the village with sea front restaurants, bars, shops and a shingle beach.
Built on the ancient city of Kition (birthplace of the stoic philosopher Zeno) pictured above, who lived in the 4th century. Zeno was so inspired by the works of Socrates that he founded the Stoic School of philosophy in Athens.
