Cyprus is overflowing with excellent restaurants, the only thing is you have to know where to find them.

If you want traditional Cypriot food then the best places to eat are always where the locals eat .
Many of the resorts and hotels offer traditional food but if you travel inland this is where you will find the true Cyprus food at much lower prices.
If you’re on a budget there are excellent kebab shops and tavernas where you can often enjoy Cypriot food at its best.

Paphos Restaurants
Once the capital of the island, Paphos is a popular tourist resort on the south west coast of the island.
Full of lovely restaurants with some of the most traditional to be found in the old town.
You can wine and dine next to the picturesque harbor or go inland to Aphrodite territory and be amazed at some of the lovely restaurants.
Limassol Restaurants
The second largest city in Cyprus is Limassol.
With a popular old town and tourist area stretching along the lovely seafront, Limassol has many luxury hotels, restaurants, clubs, bars and cafes.
Tavernas are full of local delicacies and there are restaurants ranging from basic to the most luxurious.
Larnaca Restaurants
Larnaca is the third largest city on the island and where the main airport is located.
Finikoudes promenade is full of Cypriot restaurants serving traditional food such as moussaka, keftedes and calamari.
When I first came to the island some years ago the waiters used to run across the main street of Finikoudes carrying trays of food to tables close to the sea.
Things have changed but there are still many excellent restaurants in Larnaca and on the way to McKenzie beach. Further inland are the more traditional and affordable places to eat.
Ayia Napa Restaurants
The fun filled resort of Ayia Napa has an abundance of lovely places to eat.
Nicosia Restaurants
This lovely inland city is the capital of Cyprus and not far to reach from any of the popular seaside resorts.
Nicosia has many excellent restaurants in the old town and in the new city.
