Larnaca marina is one of three marinas in Cyprus.

Llocated in the bay next to Finikoudes (Palm Tree) beach and the promenade the marina  is an official Port of Entry with berthing facilities for 450 yachts of various sizes.

The area is full of restaurants, cafes and bars and the wide sandy beach is a great place to relax, enjoy the sun and take a dip in the warm Mediterranean sea.

Although the Marina is only open to yacht owners, you are still welcome to stroll along the pier and enjoy the huge array of beautiful yachts.

This idyllic setting is totally inspiring and will make you want to take a trip on a yacht.

Unfortunately there isn’t this facility but you can take a trip on a submarine and see the wreck of Zinobia. Access to the Marina is controlled and limited to yacht owners and crews.

The Marina has security guard on a 24 hour basis.

    •  The Marina lies 110 nautical miles from Beirut and Tripoli, 182 n.m. from Tel-Aviv, 230 n.m. from Port-Said and 300 n.m. from Rhodes.
    • The position of the Marina is 34 deg. 55 min. North – 33 deg. 38 min. East.
    • The minimum depth of the usable part of the Marina is approximately 1.5M and the maximum is 4.5M
    • The nature of sea bed is mud and sand and the Marina is entirely protected from all weather conditions.

All yachts moored in the Marina may use every facility and service available, at a reasonable charge.

  • Telephone, Telex and Fax Services are available at the Marina office
  • Fuel is available at the end of the main North pier
  • Yacht Repair/Facilities: A unit for the hauling/launching and servicing/repairing of yachts operates within the Marina

 Wreck of the Zinobia

The Zinobia was a Swedish cargo ferry which sank at 2.30am on June 7th 1980 in Larnaca Bay.If you have your own yacht you can take it out and enjoy the thrill of scuba diving around the wreck and be amazed at the amount of beautiful fish swimming around.
