The area is steeped in myths and legends and Pissouri is an ideal place to rent a villa as it's so close to Aphrodite’s Rock (birthplace of the goddess). It's also close to the popular Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort.

Another area to stay is the beautiful resort of Coral Bay and the nearby villages of Pegia and St George where they are some excellent restaurants.

This area marks the start of the stunning and very peaceful Akamas Peninsula which is noted for it's unspoilt beaches, mountain walks and cycling. The nearby towns of Latchi and Polis have become very popular areas to stay.
