Pissouri

Pissouri is a traditional Cyprus hill-side village with stunning views of the coast and Troodos Mountains.

It's famous as a wine growing area and also for being just a few kilometers to the west of Aphrodite's Rock. The village is situated between Pahos and Limassol and just a 30 minute drive from each.

There's a lovely pedestrianised village square with a church, fountain, shops and a wide variety of tavernas and bars where you can enjoy the locally grown wines.

The newly built amphitheater provides everyone with excellent entertainment during the summer months and the nearby Bay has retained its Cypriot charm.

There are tavernas, a few shops and a lovely beach. During the months of June and August the beach is famous for the Green and Loggerhead turtles which come ashore to lay their eggs.
