Climate in Cyprus...

The weather in Cyprus has year-round sunshine, so if you want to enjoy the perfect climate, this is the place to come. As well as having lovely beaches, Cyprus also has the stunning Troodos Mountains.

Spring in Cyprus

One of the best times to visit Cyprus is during the Spring. The island is covered with wild flowers and the scent of blossoms and flowers fills the air.

Long hot sunny days but not too hot so great for exploring Cyprus! You can discover the natural beauty of the Akamas Peninsula which is perfect for nature rambles, cycling and hiking.

From January to March the mountains are covered with snow for up to four or five months and during March it's possible to ski on the Troodos mountains during the morning and swim in the afternoon in Paphos or Limassol

Summer in Cyprus

This is the time for beach holidays in Cyprus! Nicosia can become unbearably hot and many people vacate their city homes and head for the cooler, fresher air of the Troödos mountains or Cyprus beaches.

Autumn in Cyprus

The Autumn months of September, October and November are lovely. Although the leaves are changing to red and gold, it's still hot enough to go for a swim. Nights are colder but it doesn't really get that cold.

Many people just wear a light jacket. The harvest is over and much celebrating is had especially at the Limasssol Wine Festival

Winter in Cyprus

During the winter months of December and January the temperature by the sea is very mild and it's a great time to get away from places like the UK and spend Christmas in Cyprus.

In January (one of the coldest months), there's sometimes a little rain and you can expect average temperatures to be around 18 - 19 C during the day but nights can be a little chilly. From January to March the Troodos mountains are covered with snow for up to four or five months.
