The carnival is celebrated throughout the island with parades and floats and much fun and joviality.
Limassol is the city where you’ll find the most exciting Carnival celebrations in Cyprus.
Much preparation goes into this eleven day event which is always held 50 days before Easter.

Aleas has been formed since its creation in 2001 by four professional musicians trained at the Toulouse Music Hall School:
Cyril Laurent (saxophone), Stéphane Guionie (guitar), Mathieu Jardat (bass, double bass), and Pierre Pollet (drum, steel drum). Their original repertoire, largely influenced by their shared passion for oriental music and African sounds, offers a warm and colourful musical universe bringing jazz to various directions.
