Epiphany - 6 January

This is a religious festival in the Greek Orthdox religion and marks the end of the 12 days of Christmas.

The festival includes diving into the sea and retrieving a cross the Priests throw in to bless the sea. The people who retrieve the cross are blessed with good luck for the year.

Church services start very early and the blessing normally begins at 10.00am.

Yiannis Kotsiras

Just what is needed to get the New Year off with a bang!

The popular Greek singer Yiannis Kotsiras returns to Cyprus to give four concerts.

He will be accompanied by Savveria Margiola and five musicians for the live performances held in Nicosia, Limassol and Ayia Napa.
